Where can I locate the section of: Paid Preparer, if helping out a tax return for Decedent and NOT charging for assistance?...thanks in advance

We noticed after filing that it stated: Self Prepared, but that's not the case.  I want to make sure the IRS is well aware that I assisted in filing, per the family lawyer's suggestion....please advise...thank you.

if you were not paid you are not a paid preparer. TT does not allow entry in paid prepare box. if you want your name to appear you will have to print out the return, sign as paid preparer,  and then have taxpayer sign and date and then mail return.  it can't be e-filed,
