I know this has been posted and answered before, but....
So, I bought Premier, thinking I could file for a Decedent Trust. But no, I can't and I'm not going to fork over more $$ for Business... So, I'm looking for the Schedule B for 1041 at IRS but I absolutely cannot find such a form for the life of me! I have read that it's supposed to be different than Schedule B for 1040. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I have used this link https://www.irs.gov/instructions/i1041 and yes, it mentions Schedule B (for 1041) but when I go to IRS Forms, I just cannot find it! Help me please, before I go insane. 😂

Schedule I of Form 1041 is for reporting Alternative Minimum Tax.
Schedule B is on the second page of the trust tax return Form 1041:
OK, so seriously, I'm just now seeing that it says in the Instructions for Schedule B for 1041 that is says to use the Schedule I (Alternative Min Tax) form. If that is the case, why don't they just do away with the mention of B and say Schedule I. Please confirm this while I continue to chase my tail. Thanks!

Doh! LOL! Thanks! Good gosh, I guess my eyes aren't keeping up with my brain. So, I guess when the IRS uses a term like 1041 (Schedule B) or whatever, it's part of the main form? Rather than say, Schedule D (1040) which is a separate form?
