Where can I download Schedule A?

I used TurboTax Free and have already submitted my taxes this year.  Now I am trying to download my forms so I can apply for a loan.  There is a number included on Line 8 of my 1040, and it says in parenthesis to see Schedule A.  However, when I download the forms, Schedule A is not included.

Where can I download Schedule A?

It is either the Standard Deduction or Itemized Deductions on schedule A.  If you used the Free Edition that doesn't let you Itemize so you should have the Standard Deduction.  How much is it?

For 2018 the standard deduction amounts are:

Single 12,000 + 1,600 for 65 and over or blind

HOH 18,000 + 1,600 for 65 and over or blind

Joint 24,000+ 1,300 for each 65 and over or blind

Married filing Separate 12,000 + 1,300 for 65 and over or blind

In case I wasn't clear yo do not have a schedule A.  That's only if you enter and Itemize Deductions.

The number on line 8 was a little over 7,000.

That is probably the Standard Deduction when you are claimed as a dependent.  Are you a dependent on someone else's return?  Or filing Married Filing Separately and your spouse Itemized Deductions?  Otherwise the minimum Standard Deduction would be 12,000.  Look up at the top of the 1040.  Is the Standard Deduction box checked under your name?

The Standard Deduction for an individual for whom an exemption can be claimed on another person's tax return is limited to the greater of:
…..$1,050 or
…..Your earned income for the year + $350 (but not more than 12,000)

So you would get a minimum of $1,050.

That makes sense. I am claimed on my parents returns and the number on line 8 is $350 above my earned income. Thank you very much!

Glad we figured it out!
