You can also check the status of Form 1116 in the below TurboTax help article. If the form becomes available sooner than the currently published date, the article will be updated to reflect the new availability date.

This is becoming ridiculous now. I paid for tax prep software that includes any and all forms required to file my taxes electronically. There should be no need to print and mail taxes with a handwritten form 1116. Enough is enough already. What the f!?$ is Turbo Tax doing? I want it fixed now!

In this public forum, we are provided with form availability information, but not an explanation as to why the form is not available to be e-filed.  For additional information, it would be necessary to contact customer support.

So are you saying that I’m waiting for turbo tax to add a form 1116 that will never be able to be e-filed????? Please tell me now so I can move forward. This is ridiculous and completely unacceptable. I’d like a refund.

Form 1116 only shows available for print and mail on 3/31/22 here per the IRS.
