When it asks did I support myself I did all of those except being under my step dads insurance so does this count.

The cost of insurance does contribute to the total of support.  However, if you paid for everything to support yourself except insurance, you supported yourself.  

The total support includes all basic necessities such as food, housing, clothing, and transportation.
