When I go to review it says I am working towards a degree but I only went to college for about 3/4 months and am no longer going. Is it supposed to say that still?

If you went to school in 2016 and were working towards a degree, then yes, it should say that still.
It doesn't matter that you dropped out of school. If you were working towards a degree and completed the semester or quarter, then you were a student working towards a degree.
If you dropped out of school before completing the term, the rest of the 1098-T will determine whether you qualify for an education credit. For instance, if Box 8 isn't checked, you will not qualify for the American Opportunity Credit.
