When I filed, I filed married but separated and put my husband’s information in. But somehow turbo tax changed it over to head of household. How did that happen? Why did

Why did turbo tax change it!!!!! Why did I go through all the motions of putting in all of his personal information. Are we going to be flagged now?

When you entering your information in the My Info section of the program, a question was asked if lived with your spouse during the last six months of year.  You must have answered NO to the question to get Head of Household filing status.

Okay well that would make sense because we haven’t lived together ever since being married. We are both active duty military. We got married in April of last year but haven’t lived in the same state since I had to move over 2 years ago.
