SSI is Supplemental Security Income. SSI is not reported on a tax return.
If you are not filing a 2019 tax return and you are not required to file a tax return and you do not receive Social Security benefits, then use this TurboTax website to register for the stimulus - https://turbotax.intuit.com/stimulus-check/
Social Security Retirement/Disability/Survivors benefits are reported on a form SSA-1099
If you receive Social Security benefits, see this US Treasury website - https://home.treasury.gov/news/press-releases/sm967

People who aren't typically required to file a tax return
Social Security and Railroad Retirement recipients who are not typically required to file a tax return need to take no action. The IRS will use the information on the Form SSA-1099 and Form RRB-1099 to generate Economic Impact Payments of $1,200 to these individuals even if they did not file tax returns in 2018 or 2019. Recipients will receive these payments as a direct deposit or by paper check, just as they would normally receive their benefits. Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) recipients are also part of this group who don't need to take action.
For Social Security, Railroad retirees and SSDI who have qualifying children, they can take an additional step to receive $500 per qualifying child. (https://turbotax.intuit.com/stimulus-check/)
There are other individuals such as low-income workers and certain veterans and individuals with disabilities who aren’t required to file a tax return, but they are still eligible for the Economic Impact Payments. Taxpayers can check the IRS.gov tool - Do I Need to File a Tax Return? - to see if they have a filing requirement.
The IRS will soon provide guidance for these individuals on the steps to take to get their payment as soon as possible.

To all who have not filed a 2019 return and are not required to file a 2019 return AND do not get SS benefits ...
TT has an online option for you to enter the minimum info to get the stimulus check mailed or direct deposited.... register here on the TT website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/stimulus-check/
Use it ONLY IF you have not filed a 2018 return OR the info on the filed 2018 return is incorrect AND you will not file a 2019 return ... READ the screens carefully and take the correct path ...

SSI is a type of Social Security Payment. If you receive SSI, you do not need to do anything in order to receive the stimulus payment, unless you have dependent children that you need to register to receive payment for them.
