What number can I call to actually reach someone at the IRS?

How do you know this is not a scam. I do not see that number listed in the list of IRS numbers. SO many phone numbers and IRS scams going around now. Especially an unknown number not on list.

That IRS phone number is for requesting a replacement refund check only.

I can't believe I got I got this far!

I received a letter from the IRS stating they did not receive my form K1. I looked and it was sent in February 2020. They say I owe a penalty but there is no case number on the letter. Could this be a scam.

This DID get me to a rep from the IRS. THANK YOU! Although, after I talked to an actual person she sent me directly to the automated line immediately stating their call volume is to great to accept calls.. then.. GOODBYE!
