Solved: What is the tax payers occupation

TurboTax is asking for the taxpayer's occupation. You can enter Retired, Unemployed, Student, or any Job Description that describes the work you do. But, you can't leave it blank.

The IRS only uses that only for statistical purposes and does not affect your return.
