what is the federal carryover worksheet?

It is a TurboTax worksheet where carryover amounts from the previous year's tax return get entered or transferred in.   It is included with your tax return and is titled Carryover Wks in your forms list (it is near the bottom of the list).   

You can click on Forms in the upper right corner if you are using the Desktop software.  Use the Print Center (Tools menu) if you are using TurboTax Online.
