What is the "Capital Asset Sales Wksht"?

Hi all. I sold stock this year, some ESPP & some RSU. Under the income section I imported all the forms etc. I am on the final stretch of completing my filing and it wants me to verify information and gives me this message. I am not sure what worksheet this is referring to. I called my brokerage and they are not sure either. Can someone please advise?

The 1099-B form for my RSU's had a $0 cost basis so I had to manually enter that in (under the income section), so I am not sure if this is related to that. However it only allows me to edit "Line 25. Column (b)."

What is the "Capital Asset Sales Wksht"?

Column B on the 1099-B Worksheet is referring to the number of shares vested, which may be more than the number of shares actually sold as reported on the 1099-B.

In the case of RSU stock, some shares may have been sold to pay tax, and reported as income on your W-2.

In the RSU interview in TurboTax can calculate this for you.  However, if you know your Cost Basis, you can skip the RSU interview and enter the info in the Income section as a regular stock sale (not employee stock).
