What is overypament while filing ? Is this money owed or due ?

Any "overpayment" showing on the top of the page when you are using the TurboTax program is money that you will be refunded. The amount may change as you put info into the program, so the "overpayment" is considered to be a "close estimate" while you are working on your return.
