The Qualified Manufacturer IDentification Number is required for filing the Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit (Form 5695).

• It's a 4-digit number.
• To find the QMID:
  • Check the paperwork provided with your equipment for a "Manufacturer Certification Statement".
  • It may be listed on the invoice provided by your contractor. 
  • The code may be listed on the Manufacturers website. 
  • You can also check   Find Qualified Manufacturer ID codes for IRS Form 5695.
  • If you cannot find the code, contact the manufacturer directly.
