What if my son's health insurance is covered under his father and not me?

I am divorced and the father carries the insurance coverage. I claim him as a dependent.  Is the question does he have insurance at all or is it do I pay for his insurance?

The question is did he have insurance, how it is paid for or who paid it isn't relevant and will not impact or affect your return in anyway.
