What if i don't know my employer id

i never got a W-2 from my employer and I stated that in my return. I filed the proper form but not its saying that i can't move ahead without the employer ID. I'm not sure what to do here.

If you are filling out the Form 4852 for a substitute W-2, just leave the EIN field blank, if you have anything in the box, delete it and try to move forward. Unfortunately though, you have to have an EIN to be able to e-file. You will have to mail in your return for this year.
