I paid $42 at Office Depot....then paid it again when I did the set up. very confusing

@kymillers It sounds like you may have purchased the Desktop Edition (CD/Download) at Office Depot, and then also paid for an Online version. They are separate and distinct platforms, not to be used together.
Is there any way you can return the CD you purchased at Office Depot?

TurboTax has changed what is included in the Free Edition (available only in the Online platform). See the TurboTax FAQ below for more explanation.
