What does this mean- Hidden Fed to State: Employer has too many characters?

Turbo Tax is telling me that I need to fix this before filing state return.

This appears to be a form W2 entry.  Try editing the employer name in the Job (W2) topic. Delete/backspace to ensure the box is completely empty and then re-enter the employer name.  If you have more than one W2, work the longest name first. you can even shorten the name as long as it is still recognizable.    

Sometimes, especially if a w2 was imported or uploaded, extra characters may show up.  If re-entering just the name doesn't work you may even try deleting the entire W2 and re-entering the form information by hand.
