What does "Single with 1 dependent(s)" mean? I am single who is also dependent. I hope that doesn't mean that I am single who has a person who is dependent on me.

"Single with 1 dependent(s)" means your employer is withholding tax based on you filing your tax return as a "Single" person and claiming one personal exemption (yourself). 

It does not mean that you have another person who is dependent on you.
