What do I enter in column B in Sec. 3 on my 1095-A if it is 0$?

I keep getting a red message under it saying "Must be greater than $0", but I have $0.00 listed on my 1095-A form.

You have to go to the marketplace to see what the premium for you is for the second lowest silver plan and enter that amount or ask for a corrected 1095-A.

Unfortunately, different providers of Form 1095-A follow different conventions in filling out the form, including the use of zeros. Follow these steps to enter your Form 1095-A in TurboTax.

For any month that you had Marketplace insurance and have an amount in column A, then the amount in column B can't be zero. You must enter the Second Lowest Cost Silver Plan (SLCSP). The SLCSP is the second-lowest priced health insurance plan in the Silver category that was available when you applied for insurance at Healthcare Marketplace.

You can use the  Health coverage tax tool to figure out how to get the SLCSP if it is not on your Form 1095-A.

For months you didn't have insurance, you can leave the columns blank (don't enter a zero, even if it appears on your form).

See this article for more information about the Premium Tax Credit.

TurboTax will automatically fill out Form 8962 once you enter your Form 1095-A.
