What Changed With TurboTax Premier in 2024?

In order to use TurboTax to file my 2024 taxes, I need at least the following features:

- the ability to skip the interview, picking my own topics

- the ability to mass import everything from various sources all at once, before starting the rest of the tax process

I have been unable to find how to do either of these this year. They were available last year, though not easy to find.

Can anyone explain *exactly* how to do either of these, preferably with pictures of any icons involved (I don't know names for most icons).

If I can get answers to both of these I might be able to use the TurboTax product I purchased this year.

Alternatively, if anyone can verify that one or both are no longer supported, I'll know I need to cut my losses and either buy the competing H&R product, and/or hire someone not affiliated with Intuit/Quicken/TurboTax (or H&R, if their product also fails me) in order to complete my taxes in the next 9 days.

What Changed With TurboTax Premier in 2024?

Problem solved:

1) The import functionality can be found by searching for "import" in the "Search topics" tool, accessed from one of the buttons at the top of the turbo-tax window. This may in fact be the same as last year.

Once I'd done that, it took me to something that looked like the "I'll explore on my own" UI that I remembered from past years. But switching to any other time lost it.

2) There are a number of must-answer questions that look like they are part of the interview, and block access to the choice between "guide me" and "I'll explore on my own" for each section.

Once you answer those all-important questions that aren't *really* part of the "guide me" process, you get the same choice that was available in past years.

So, I've been saved from having to buy two tax products this year.
