No notification, no alerts..nothing. Intuit/TurboTax charged me to efile even though the IRS was no longer accepting efiles. I will NEVER use your services again. Now I have to physically mail my returns in months late and wait another 6 weeks. @efile

If TurboTax provided "notices" regarding the deadline, why did they also provide: 1) An option to efile on 10/18/2020 after the IRS efile deadline, and; 2) An orange "Transmit My Returns Now" button that allowed me to proceed and assume my taxes were filed? So I paid to use efiling "software" that still requires me to print out and mail my documents when I selected efile to begin with - got it.
There is no charge to efile using the TT Online version. The fee is for the use of the software to prepare your return(s), and is the same regardless of how you file. And TT did post several notices about the deadline to efile.
