You have a phone number to call and its nothing by a recording and get disconnected-why advertise?

Per IRS site free service thru Turbo as its clearly a fee-CAN YOU HELP ME???? Or this info on the IRS fraus just as you have a phone number and dont assit?

Phone support is not provided with the Free Edition.  If you are using a paid version of the software or if you purchased PLUS you can get phone support when customer support is there.  Otherwise, post your question here and someone will try to help.

TurboTax support does not have a phone number, so anything you see on the internet is not from TurboTax.

Phone support from TurboTax is not available using the Free online edition.  You would need to upgrade to one of the paid online editions for phone support.

And....you have missed the deadline to start a free return using TurboTax.    It is now too late to use the free software.   If you need to start a new tax return then only the paid desktop software is available, which must be downloaded to a full PC or Mac.

And to use the TT program thru the IRS FREE FILE  option  then you must link in thru the IRS system  which is now closed for the 2020 tax year  and they will not participate for the 2021 tax filings next year.
