I'm a resident of utah and receive 1099-int from california. i must file a california return to report that income. is that income also taxable in utah?

Wait....it is ONLY taxable by Utah if you were a full-year UT resident.

.....a 1099-INT from any financial institution in CA.....or any other state.....it is only taxable by Utah.

You DO Not file a CA tax return for a 1099-INT from a CA location/bank/broker.
