I have among others $ 3337 from a qualified plan reported on a W2 form. This shows correctly in the Wages and Income section in TurboTax. I have completed everything reviewed and also paid the fee. However when I got the final 1040-SR form printed it says $ 0 (zero) in line 1a (Total amount from Form(s) W-2, box 1). Also I checked all the other numbers. The $ 3337 is not included in my total income.
How can I get this corrected? I don't want to get problems with the IRS for underreporting my income.
I finished everything and I'm reay to file. I also paid already the Turbotax fee.

Please review the form you received and used to enter your income. You mentioned a "qualified plan". If this was a distribution from a qualified retirement plan, it would normally be reported on Form 1099-R rather than Form W-2, except for certain disability payments.
If you have a Form 1099-R, enter it in the IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R) section under Wages and Income.
A blank Box 1 entered on a W-2 would prevent the return from e-filing.
See this article for more information from TurboTax regarding Form 1099-R.

Thanks for the fast answer, Monika.
No, I do have other 1099-R forms and Turbotax processed them correctly.
But this retirement income is reported on a W2 form. Also, Turbotax imported the W2 form directly electronically from the provider. The income is listed in boxes 1, 3, 5, and 11 of the W2 form. Also Social Security and Medicare taxes were withheld in boxes 4 and 6, but no income tax in box 2. All other boxes are empty. I don't pay state tax, because I live outside the US.
However, after reviewing all the appendices of the return I found to my great surprise that this income is now listed in line 8t of Schedule 1 and is offset by a higher negative amount in line 8z of the Schedule. That appears to also be the reason why I couldn't find the exact amount anywhere in the 1040 form.
So, I guess this is OK now, and I will go ahead filing.
However, this is very confusing because I'm receiving this retirement income for 11 years, always with a W2 form imported electronically directly from the provider. And Turbotax always (up to last year) reported it in line 1a of the 1040 form. So you can imagine my surprise when I now found a zero in this line. It would be nice, if Turbotax would inform users in advance and more clearly of such changes in reporting, which would have saved me a lot of excitement and time. I suppose I'm not the only user who gets a pension reported on a W2 form.
Best wishes, Karl
