W2-G on State Returns

I got a W2-G from a casino. The TurboTax instructions on my CA state return says to attach any W2-G's.  Is that still required as I'm already attaching the first copy to my Federal return, and the second copy is supposed to be for my records.  If it's required, can I send a photocopy on the state return so I can keep an original copy for my  records?

A photocopy is just fine.
