I need to report my gambling winnings($1600) so that they can deduct the taxes from it. However, I am not itemizing, I just want them to deduct the taxes. Shouldn't I be able to use the free version for this? I really dont think I should have to pay the extra $40 for deluxe, on top of the $200 they are cutting me for the winnings... input please?!

I think you can claim them under business income or loss (-1600)and then under other income 1600.  I don't know how to show you how it was done.   I had my taxes done last year by a professional tax service and this was how they did mine.  Hope that helps.  It did show it as schedule C and on a 1040 form then it listed a schedule 3 indicator and was 1
