When I enter the details for Gambling Winnings, the response time to enter each field is slower than my 1980's computer. It takes several seconds to move from one field to another using the Tab key. Please fix.
It would also be nice to preserve the previous year's entries so I don't have to re-enter the data if I win a reportable jackpot from the same casino the following year. This is what you already do for Bank entries. So this means saving the Federal ID number, Payer name, address, phone number, etc. I can then update only the fields that changed.

Try to workaround as this has proven successful for some users.
If the system remains slow, try the following.
From a Windows desktop:
This has nothing to do with my computer. The speed using Turbotax is fast except when entering W-2G info. As soon as I finished adding multiple gambling winnings, the Turbotax speed is normal. I have all Solid State memory in my computer, no hard drive. It is extremely fast. Turbotax software has not been tested by Intuit when entering W-2G data.
If you are still having the same issue, please follow the instructions here to contact us by phone so we can look into this further. @robert81
I hope the problem is tested and fixed for next year. It took 10X longer than usual to input the W-2G data, but I had to tough it out and get the taxes done. Just input more than 8 or 9 W-2G forms, and you will see what true truly slow software does. Not fun.
