No matter what I enter here, the TurboTax software won't accept it. The number printed on my W-2 statement is "11736850 017 WTH", but even if I just make up a number, I get the same error message: "Must be 14 characters long with no hyphens". I entered it exactly how it is listed above, and it is 14 characters long. I cannot proceed any further until this has been resolved, and my credit card has been charged so I need this fixed ASAP. Thank you.

Did you try entering it without the spaces? A space is a character. What you showed in your question is 16 characters because of the spaces.
Yes - I entered it with and without spaces, with and without the three final letters - no matter what I enter, even if it was a 14-digit gibberish number, it won't accept it. Thanks.
Delete the number entire, click in another box to be sure the number box is empty, then come back to the number box and re-enter it with no spaces.
BUT...the final three letters??? they must be lower case.....wth !!

.......this has been going on for years now, and I really can't see why the program managers don't fix whatever "case" they want in the background programming SHEESH !!

That goes for any tax form you enter with UT state withholding and those Utah code letters.
