Virginia State download for 2024 tax year when is it available

When is the Virginia state download for tax year 2024 available. My program has not updated the state part yet and my download on the web site does not show that the state download is available and yet I paid for a free state program when I purchased my deluxe turbo tax for 2024.

The Virginia state forms and schedules all show as being available so you should have no issue in downloading the VA state program.

Make sure your software is at the latest release.

Click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen

Click on Check for Updates

Have you entered any income in the 2024 TurboTax program which is from the state of Virginia?  If so, the you should be able to download the state.

Click on Online

Click on Download State

If you still cannot download the state then contact TurboTax support for assistance.
