This is not a political discussion. This is a legitimate tax related question. Money was taken from several Americans because of the ACA and I’d like to know if anything has been stated regarding

Very good question. Unfortunately, Congress has not addressed the issue. For now, all we know is that this (2018) will be the last year for the penalty. We will have to wait until next year to see what the new law will be.
