I tried several times to import my tax data from Vanguard Brokerage website. The tax forms are ready from Vanguard side but Turbotax says "something is not working" and also says "we could not get any information from your account" . I have been successfully importing Vanguard tax data past several years (5 or more) and this is the first time I have encountered this problem. Any suggestions?

Did you try using a different browser? The other option is to manually input your transactions.

I will try Chrome and see what happens. Will update you after trying. I was using Microsoft Edge browser.
Also manually inputting will be a major hassle because i have multiple accounts in Vanguard that have brokerage, MF and other transactions. Even importing from PDF will not be possible because Vanguard does not give consolidated PDF and splits the tax forms into multiple PDF files (organized by accounts I think)
Same problem in Chrome too :(
Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies?
These weird little programs that run on your browser can do nutty stuff to the TurboTax program.
If that doesn't work you should try changing your password on the Vanguard site to something reallt simple, importing your statements, then going back to Vanguard and changing your password back to something more complex. There has been some communication issues with special characters in the password fields.
If none of that works then you really may have to enter the 1099-B in manually. You can enter summary totals for the sections so that you don't have to type everything in, but it's still a hassle.
My brother and I just went thru this tonight.....failing 5or6 - times
before realizing we were doing it wrong..
The login is NOT asking for your UserID/Pwd that you normally use to log into your Vangd Brokerage account...it is asking for the ACCT # and Document Number that is listed along the top of the first page of your paper/PDF consolidated tax form set (Ours was on the top of the 1099-DIV page)
