JUST got off the phone with tech support with same issue. After 2 hours on the phone, turns out the problem was that my activation code (the license code you receive when purchasing / downloading the software) had been deactivated. The tech told me there are only 6 companies officially licensed to sell Turbotax online. Anyone else is unofficial at best. Luckily I was able to contact the website I got the original code from and they gave me a new one which when I plugged that one in (there's a menu option under the help menu) I was able to proceed with paying for and filing my tax return.
