Hello,
I entered in summary data because I have many transactions and many wash sales. I uploaded my E*Trade 1099-B as evidence of my transactions and adjustments because I have a lot of wash sales and would rather not mail it in to the IRS. Apparently this is a new TurboTax feature. However, when I go to file, the TurboTax filing instructions say I have to mail in a copy of my 1099-B. When I preview my return the 1099-B I uploaded as evidence for my wash sales isn't there. I can't tell whether the 1099-B PDF I uploaded has been attached, or if it just won't show it to me in that preview version. Is this just an automated error message and my 1099-B will in fact be sent thru efile to the IRS, preventing me having to mail it in?

It's impossible to say for sure whether or not the upload of your 1099-B worked and will be transmitted with your return; therefore, I recommend you go ahead and mail your 1099-B to the IRS.
Go to the Print Center to print and review your complete tax return.
You should always do that before you file. After you file is too late.
You must pay first.
Your imported wash sales should appear in detail on Form 8949.
When your details are on the e-Filed form, you don't have to mail those details in again.
I see you say you uploaded but I thought you said Imported.
Importing will put your details on the Form 8949.
Isn't it odd that no expert will say definitively that PDF attach works or doesn't work.?
Exactly. It was disconcerting. But after reading that comment I called TurboTax customer service and they assured me that my uploaded form will be sent to the IRS with my return even though it is not shown on the copy of my return I get back.
