Update when Taxes are ready to file

My taxes were ready to file but, for some reason, were not able to be transmitted.  When I started TurboTax this morning, there were updates.  After the updates, does TurboTax automatically do a scan of my returns to ensure nothing has changed as a result of the update?  If not, why does it not warn me to recheck to ensure my files are ready to be transmitted?

There may be forms that are required for your tax return that aren't available yet. If that is the case, the program will not let you e-file. You can check the status of the specific forms needed for your returns in the link below.
