Update not extracting under big sur?

I am having the same problem.  Gets about 95% of the way thru "Extracting update..." then just hangs.

Experiencing the same issue with TurboTax updates not extracting.  Hangs us at 95%.  Currently running macOS Big Sur 11.2.1

Even though the extraction hangs, I just waited and waited and waited, and it finally finished. Patience is the trick here.
