Schedule M1NR: Line 8e, column B - Unemployment taxable to Minnesota should be entered since there is a
corresponding amount on the federal return. If none is taxable to Minnesota, enter zero in column B.
I’m confused I worked in multiple states and got unemployment from one so on my other state returns I put 0 but from the one I got it out of i don’t know if I should enter the amount from box 1 of a 1099G or the state tax that was withheld.

If you lived in Minnesota when you received all or part of the Unemployment, that would be the Minnesota amount,
I didn’t live in Minnesota at all, I just collected it from that state when I was unemployed. So would it be 0?
Yes, you do not have to report Unemployment from Minnesota if you did not live there. See Nonresidents. @Kinslee3
Would I have to report it in the state I live since it was from another state? And if I do would it be the total amount I received in the unemployment?
Yes, you report the entire amount received on your resident state return.
If the unemployment income was the only income you received from Minnesota, you do not need to file a Minnesota tax return at all.
