Are there any plans to exempt a portion of unemployment compensation from federal taxes for 2021 tax year ending on 12-31-21?

Unemployment Compensation

Hi @marino-t233!  

This is a great question.  Exempting a portion of unemployment compensation for 2021 tax year could definitely help many people, however the IRS have not given out official plans on doing so yet.  I would suggest keeping a look out on the IRS news release page:
