How do I delete a 1099 misc that was put in self employed by accident and now it is messing up my state taxes.

Under the Wages & Income tab scroll down to Business items and elect to start-update Business Income & Expenses (SCH C). When prompted to enter your business information, say YES. You should see a business listed there. (I am assuming you are NOT self employed and are NOT filing a SCH C). Click the Delete button next to it and just work it through to delete the SCH C and all traces of a business.
