Vanguard can be confusing. 

Vanguard has two kinds of accounts. Vanguard mutual fund only accounts and brokerage accounts.

Brokerage account import says it will not be available until 2/16/17 (and 2/19/17 for 1099Rs).

Mutual fund accounts are currently available for 1099R, but 1099-DIVs do not seem to be there. 

In general the availability of imports lags the availability of PDF states (all available now on vanguard.com).

I'm not sure I would believe that this is actually a TT problem, but who knows. I suspect it will work tomorrow or next week.

I contacted TT support and they closed the case but didnt do anything. I still cant import my Vanguard Brokerage Account (Or E-Trades).

I just checked and my Vanguard Brokerage accounts are now ready for import. I think they just weren't ready when you tried. Their notice said they would be reading 2/16/17 and they now are.

Right.  I just imported my Vanguard Brokerage data from them using (of course) Turbotax and it worked just fine.

I have found that you can upload the pdf form that you got from your vanguard. You have to select the "enter my form differently" button. You have 3 options, direct import (which did not work with the consolidated), enter by hand (which I was quite confused about) and upload document from your computer (this worked). The confusion to me was last year I converted my vanguard accounts to brokerage type. In previous years I had a FEIN (TIN on vanguard's docs) for every mutual fund. This year I have a 1099-div and a 1099-consolidated. When I do the import it only gets the -div, and I have to "review" them over and over again. Now with the consolidated you just use the one FEIN/TIN number and upload the PDF or enter the totals by hand. It should be simpler but I wasted a good hour or two until I figured it out. Also if you did the conversion to brokerage last year, you may have some individual funds from last year that you need to delete.

Having this issue again. TT - when will import be available for Vanguard? Fidelity import became available today.

Disregard. Thought it was asking for username and password. But it was asking for account number and document ID. Import worked!
