Unable to e-file 2024 amendment

I am trying to e-file an amendment to last years tax return, but getting the following message:

"The Intuit Electronic Filing Center is closed for the 2024 Personal Income Tax filing season. November 15, 2025 was the last day to file returns electronically."

This contradicts with this:

The largest tax software in the US doesn't allow a simple amendment to be e-filed from previous tax year?

File it by mail.   Print it, sign and date it in ink, and mail it.

Use a mailing service like certified mail  to track so you will know it was received since you will have a long wait.

Do not expect quick results from amending. It can take four months or more for the IRS to process an amended return.
