Turns out premier does not do Form 1041, so how can you upgrade from premier to business?

To complete a Form 1041 for a trust or estate,  you'll need purchase TurboTax Business software.

Do you have the Desktop Premier program?  Or the Online version?  Why did you think that Premier has the 1041?  You can enter a K-1 you get from a 1041 return into the personal versions.  

You need Turbo Tax Business.  It  is a separate program from Home & Business.  It is not available to do online or on a Mac.  And it will not do your personal 1040 return.  You can have both Turbo Tax Business and a personal version (like Home & Business) installed at the same time.

I understand now that TurboTax Premier does not do Form 1041, which is what I purchased from Costco already. What I am asking is, do I have to return TT Premier for a refund and then purchase TT Business -OR- can I upgrade to TT Business?

And to do it yourself you don't need that link posted in the first answer.  That is a new expensive service and not the Desktop program you install on your computer.  Use my link,

No you can not upgrade from a personal version to the separate Business program.  But you can still use your Premier to do your personal tax return.  Or don't you need to do your 1040?

So are you saying to return it to Costco and purchase the TT Business one - I'm guessing there is NO Upgrade service at TurboTax?

Yes.  Return Premier and buy Turbo Tax Business.  You can only upgrade Premier to the Home & Business personal program.  But Home & Business is only for 1040 returns that need Schedule C for self employment.   Don't confuse Home & Business with the separate Business program.
