Turbotax Tax Amendment

I e-fill my tax for federal, and did the paper mail for state tax.

When I tried to amend the tax, Turbotax told me that I cannot e-fill the amendment, even for the federal, since I didn't e-fill the state.

Is that right? I think it should at least allow me to amend the fed tax.

Depends on what you change ... some amended items cannot be efiled in any way.

poster says the issue is a paper state tax return.

Such a limitation is not very user friendly.
