The Payer's TIN is a standard format. It should be a nine-digit number. The number is issued directly by the IRS. Review the information on your 1099-DIV and make sure that it matches your entry on TurboTax. If not, make the correction and see if you can continue. If it does, you will want to contact the provider to verify the information on your document.

My Nokia TIN is listed as 00-000000 (Paper and electronically downloaded) and has so for the last 5+ years.  It is a foreign corp. and the SEC listed the TIN ( (IRS Employer Identification No.) as N/A.  This is the 1st year I had this blocking of electronic filing in TurboTax. How do you bypass this TurboTax error?

TurboTax bug fix.  Delete the 00-000000 and it will file.  New for TT2019.  Never had to do this for the past 5+ years.
