TurboTax Premiere 2020 for Mac will not open tax file

I have been running TurboTax Premier 2020 for Mac on a MacBook Pro using macOS Big Sur for a week or two. I imported my tax file from 2019 and mad some changes. All went well for a week or two. Now, when I open TurboTax, it does not automatically open my 2020 tax file. It opens as if I have not imported or changed any information yet. 

Somehow TT is not "remembering" the last opened and saved file. Any ideas what is happening?

I has turbo tax Business purchased online. I am using a mac pro computer. I transfer a tax return from 2019 when I save info the computer save drop screen appears and computer locks up
