TurboTax Premier 2024 desktop will not recognize my computer after an update

After an update, when I try to open Turbotax Premier 2024, it takes me to an activation page.

TurboTax tells me there is an activation code already for my computer. It gives me no other options other than to enter another activation code.

I tried everything found on the internet.

I wanted to uninstall and reinstall but even after logging into TurboTax but before uninstalling, I could not find the Download section.

I have Windows 11.

The update occurred October 25, 2025.

Are there any suggestions that work? 

I don't want to lose an activation when it is not my fault.

I see many complaints, and many possible solution which non work.

Tax season may be over, but there are things that are useful on TurboTax.
