Why won't my TurboTax 2024 let me eFile my return?
It keeps hanging up with a supposed error on the 1099-NEC Nonemployee Compensation Worksheet, but the supposed error is false, the form requires either a Payer's EIN OR SSN, it does not require both. What gives? I have tried fixing this and I have done the updates repeatedly with no resolve to this issue. I even came across others posting about this very same issue and apparently it has been a problem since mid-January 2025. So again, I ask, what gives? I don't like paying good money for a software to not work properly and this stupid error NEVER popped up during the review check process. It only appeared AFTER I have paid the filing fee for my State return and now it won't allow the eFile to go through. This is stupid and needs to be fixed immediately!!!!

Were you able to file your Federal return and this is just for your state return? What state?
This was for Federal, which, as a result, was impacting all eFiling. However, I was finally able to speak with an extremely helpful agent with Turbo Tax who recommended deleting the form and then redoing the form and that seemed to fix the issue. He agreed that it was a software glitch that was causing the problem but following his recommendation did finally result in allowing me to eFile both Federal and State. Thanks.
