Turbotax is asking for a 1095-A, saying it's mandatory, when I didn't enroll in the Affordable Healthcare Act, this year.

Turbotax has been relentlessly asking for a 1095-A, which I don't have, and won't get. I tried searching around, and all I can find is outdated information to remove it from my return filing. I tried those steps, such as "Jump to 1095-A" in the search bar, but that only brings up support pages, and nothing else.

Delete the Form 1095-A and the Form 8962 (if listed)

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen

Click on Tools

Click on Delete a form

Form 1095-A was carried over from your 2022 tax return.

If you don't have a Marketplace policy this year, you have to delete in TurboTax.

To delete it, please follow these steps:

  1. In TurboTax, open your return
  2. In the left-hand column, locate Tax Tools, click on the drop-down arrow then click on Tools
  3. On the Tools Center  page, click on Delete a form
  4. A list of forms will appear. Locate ‌Form 1095-A and click Delete next to it.
  5. On the next screen, click Delete Form

Neither of these forms are in the list when I go to that section.

This did not work. I have followed these directions and re-filed multiple times and am still receiving a rejection notice. Is there another solution or is this a bug in the system?
