@mister_bill Thank You! I was able to import Merrill's docs after saw your message, while I thought I would have to wait for another day or two.
Dear Turbotax,
Today is Feb 28, 2020. After several days of delay from you, I could import my tax documents from Merrill Edge. However, only 1099-INT and 1099-DIV is correct. My 1099-B (about 2000 transaction) resulted in empty (zero) gains/losses.
Could you please tell what I can do?
Thank you
@leat77 when you login to the Merrill website, what do you see in the tax forms there? Is it correct? Does TT download the 1099-B's at all and maybe just missing some info in them?
Seems like it's really Merrill who is responsible if information is missing in what is downloaded by TT.
after waiting so many days to get the 1099-INT and DIV, wait a few more for the 1099-B.
My 1099-B was available at the same time as the rest of my tax forms, but it only had one trade. Are you saying that if there are a number of trades it takes longer to be available to download? Or just suggesting that they wait? One thing that is clear is that Merrill downloads empty forms when the form is not available.
@leat77 Did you ever get corrected info from the import?
Finally online on Monday. Received mailed copies today. Thanks Bill
