In the Schedule K-1 entry there is a list of all of the boxes and it asks you to put a checkmark for each box where your k-1 has some sort of entry. Perhaps because last year's k-1 had box 13 checked, TurboTax "helpfully" checked it off for this year. But this year's k-1 doesn't have have anything in box 13. When I am on the page and I click on the box the check mark disappears, but when I click "continue" it asks me for the information in box 13 and when I hit the "back" button box 13 has a check mark next to it again.
I have switched to "Forms" and the entry fields for box 13 are all empty (I checked for blanks, they are really empty.)
Is there any way to get TurboTax to believe me when I say that there shouldn't be a checkmark there and that my k-1 doesn't have anything in box 13?
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
Since you have tried all the obvious ways to clear this box, you might enter a zero and move on. It's unlikely you'll have this experience again next year.
And here we are a year later, and the same bug is still there.
I've been a TurboTax, and before that MacInTax customer for about 40 years now. Every year the quality goes down. *sigh*
Your only other option is to delete the Schedule K-1 entirely and re-enter.
